Then I came across your wallpapers page while browsing, to the Swastika wallpaper and your apologies regarding it.
I just wanted to say that I am from India and Swastika and OM are our sacred symbols. I don't understand that as Hitler took it to prove his Euro Aryan crap theory and did vile things, but how does that reflect on the Swastika symbol.
It was never used extensively before in Europe. All the Hindu manuscripts,temples,even our homes,our Puja's etc use it even today as the the first thing before starting anything important since for thousands of years. So the historians, media etc and the general European public at least should understand this and stop putting Swastika in bad light.

I appriciate your comments but alas, since the third reich decied to use the the swastika as their symbol the entire world now associates it with the crimes commited by them. I agree with you that the symbol its self does not deserve the bad press its gets and I find the actual third reich rendering of the symbol quite striking. None of which will change what most people associate this natuarally occuring and long time religious symbol with...:(

yeah i'd agree with you both. It's a shame that the swastika is stereotyped with Nazi evil but there's nothing can be done about it now. Guess we'll just have to put up with it forevr. :(
