A Letter For Tony Blair

This is a work in progress, i have about 6 to 10 months to complete it (some of which may well be spent in prison thanks to the in ability of people to actually take responsibility for their actions). I intend to send it to Mr Blair, i may even attempt to deliver it in person. Its all about my reasons for leaving England for sunnier climes. Yes, i have well and truly had enough of this country and im off. It will be a bit of a hodge podge but i will get their in the end!

I am 35 years old, i have a criminal record, i have worked most of my life and now run my own business. Its not thriving but its what i want so nevermind! I am currently charged with 3 cases of dangerous driving, 3 cases of failing to stop at and 3 cases of failing to report an accident. I have 3 (13 boy, 7 girl, 3 boy) children, 2 with one girl and one with another, NONE of which where born with my consent. Over the last year i have (and still am in the case of the CSA and Police) had the misfortune of being persued by the government from 3 different (Tax, CSA Payments and police) directions all after the same thing. MONEY I DO NOT HAVE! After the court case doubtless they will be after me for topping up the legal aid i am now receiving. My treatment by the inept police and incompetent Crown Prosecution Service coupled with the "you are just a number attitude of the CSA" has been the final straw. I did consider absconding but though i would wait and see, i want to see if the justice system really does deliver justice. (IT DOES NOT!!!!)

Each section below is dedicated to one gripe, please enjoy, sorry about the bad language and insults, its just the way i am!!! Too honest for my own good according to legal experts, yes, i have been instructed to lie.

Justice (most promenant in my mind at the moment)

Justice has always been a primary part of any civil society. Justice is required to keep order among the people, to give people a set of rules to which the should adhere in order to live an honorable life. Justice should be apllied fairly and in my view all should be treated as innocent until proven guilty. Justice should also be kept seperate from politics, the two are not good bed partners, politics (in this country anyway) is about lies, justice is about the truth and rooting out that truth (or so i thought until last monday) in order to punish fairly and equally those responsible for the crime in question. Justice should not be about ensuring the accused is found guilty and punished! I, for example am innocent of the charges leveled against me, but i have had my life turned upside down by the police and CPS with their relentless attempts at gathering eveidence to prove i am guilty of the offences i stand accused of. Please, you must bear in mind i am supposed to be innocent. How can a criminal, any criminal be put in prison (remanded in custody) when they are supposed to be innocent unless there is undisputable proof that they are guilty or they have made a guilty plea.

These days your plea is entered at the police station (another one of Mr Blairs attempts at being tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime). Years ago your plea was entered at the first court hearing! You can get a reduced sentence IF you plead guilty at the earliest oppotunity. In my view this is just encouraging innocent people to go guilty out of fear (as i have been advised to by my defence team). The police are in place to prevent and detect crime. Crime prevention is not, it would seem as high on their list of priorities as crime detection. If more effort was put into prevention the prisons would slowly empty and less would need to be spent on detection. A prime example is of a girl that was raped, and beaten half to death in Southhampton town center while the police where on the outskirts of the town pulling over motorists to find drink/drug drivers. They stopped 500 cars that night, the caught 17 people drink / drug driving. If the 20 odd officers involved in this "clamp down" where present in the town center, that girl may well not have suffered such a terrible ordeal. Driving a vehicle is inherently dangerous and people are all to well aware of that so why do you seem to want to spend sooo much time trying to make something safer when it is common knowledge that it is not and will never be a safe thing to do!

The legal system in the UK is a fucking farce, i am being held soley responsible for a reaction to other peoples dangerous driving while they continue to drive around, free to cause more chaos!!!

Tax (The biggest UK rip off)

Luxry toilet roll, Electricity, Gas, petrol(VAT on tax with this one), Driving, Television(some may not agree but i see it as tax), Flights, Flights (double tax on those now in the name of a greener world even though you allow the airports to double their traffic?). These are some of the things we are taxed on these days, in fact, in the UK, you are taxed on life if you actually live anywhere(Community Charge) and death (Inheritance tax, even in death you still want my fucking money) when you have finished paying taxes all you life.

What do we get in return? Our bins emptied.....If...they arent too full or dont have the wrong rubbish in them. PCSO's that cant even arrest people. ASBO's that dont work. Bumpy and badly looked after roads, an all but useless privatised public transport system, one of the most expensive in the world i might add.
